MUSLIM BEAUTY TOPS MUTYA NG PILIPINAS 2018 PAGEANT

Sharifa Areef Mohammad Omar Akeel was crowned Mutya Ng Pilipinas Asia-Pacific for 2018 during the 3 hour pageant spectacle held at the jampacked Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City last September 16, Sunday. She bested 49 other delegates from different cities, provinces and Filipino Communities in abroad. Sharifa is a Muslim and represented the Province of Sultan Kudarat.
Other winners are Julienne Aya Fernandez from Taguig City – Mutya Ng Pilipinas Tourism International 2018, Kesha Ramachandran – Mutya Ng Pilipinas Tourism Queen of the Year, Pauline Amelinckx Mutya Ng Pilipinas Global Beauty Queen. First runner-up honor went to Mary Justine Teng of Muntinlupa City and 2nd runner – up was Kristine Malicsi of Navotas City, Mutya Ng Pilipinas Overseas Commubity weny to Jade Skye Roberts of Australia.
Completing the Top 12 are Agatha Romero (Manila), Nina Ancheta (LA, California), Anie Uson (Pangasinan)Ebony Bangit (Melbourne) and Mariafe Loayon (Cebu).
