COMIC CON ASIA 2018 GRAND LAUNCHING

Comic Con Asia 2018, destined to be the biggest comic characters convention in Asian continent was officially launched last September 13 at the The City Club of Alphaland in Makati City. The event was hosted by Diana Menesez and Gerard Sison who came in Wonder Woman and Superman costumes, joining them is host/dancer and cos player Regine Tolentino.
Present at the event is the chairman and producer of PSL Entertainment Miss Pauline Laping who shared her excitement of the coming comic convention not only for the characters but also for the fans and supporters. “What makes Comic Con Asia different is the great balance between international and Asian content. With the local Filipino audience very up to date with both American box office hits and Japanese anime, for example, the Philippines is the best place to have a comic con that is uniquely Asian”, she says. Special guest of the evening is the Pamabasang Kamao Senator Many Pacquiao who will be the Ambassador of the convention this coming March 24-25, 2018 at the SMX Hall Convention Center, Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. Looked up to as a homegrown hero for bringing honors to the country, Pacquiao himself is an avid fan of comic conventions and comic-related art form. His participation is also his way of supporting local talents, and bringing the Philippines at the forefront of regional convention venues and an ideal tourism destination.
Comic Con Asia is expected to be a gathering of the best of comics, movies, series, manga, anime, toys, gaming and cosplay all come together. The event will be created to showcase Filipino and Asian talent and apart from international and regional celebrity guests, there will be plenty of industry panels. It is not just a meet and greet with famous actors and actresses, it is also a proper industry con where one can learn from the people behind the scenes: the artists, creators, and the producers.
Comic Con Asia 2018 is produced by PSL Entertainment and Nam Entertainment Group. Part of the proceeds of the event will benefit Filipino men and women in uniform.
