ARANETA CENTER CELEBRATES GRANDPARENTS DAY

The Araneta Center in Cubao, Quezon gives tribute to the Lolo’s and Lola’s last Sunday September 10 as the nation celebrates the Grandparents Day. Dubbed as #LOL DAY , the event was a treat to the elders held at the activity center of Gateway Mall. They were given free medical check-up, meals, and other freebies from the sponsors .
Highlight of the celebration is the participation of two reigning Bb. Pilipinas queens. Bb. Pilipinas International 2017 Mariel De Leon and Bb. Pilipinas Grand International Elizabeth Clenci was a delight sight to the crowd as they serenaded the lolos and lolas present during the event. They rendered the Elvis Presley classic “Can’t Help Fallin in Love” and Stevie Wonder “Isn’t She lovely”. Mariel is a classical singer while Elizabeth is a bassist. They shared their own memories and story of their grandparents.
Both are set to compete internationally in the coming months. Elizabeth is leaving on October 5 to compete at the annual Miss Grand International pageant in Vinpearl Resort, Nha Trang, Vietnam, on the other hand mariel is aiming for a back to back at the 57th edition of Miss International pageant
