MR. AND MISS CHINATOWN PHILIPPINES 2017 CORONATION NIGHT

25 year old former US Army and 21 year old student of Ateneo De Davao University were proclaimed the new Mr. and Miss Chinatown Philippines for 2017.
Jacob Munez and Joy Wu bested 24 other hopefuls during the finals of the pageant held at The Theatre at Solaire in Pasay City.
1st runners-up honors went to Martin Sy 20 of De Lasalle Unicersity and Angel Elpa 20 from University of San Carlos in Cebu. 2nd runners-up went to Allen Wu 20 from Ateneo De Davao and Kency Ongkeco of De Lasalle University.
The pageant were hosted by Gretchen Ho and Alvin of Chinoy TV and anchored by Bb. Pilipinas Grtand Interntional 2016 first runner-up Nicole Cordoves.
The grand winners received P200,000 in cash and other valuables prizes from sponsors.
Joy Wu will going to compete at the Miss Chines International 2018 in Hong Kong.
Jacob says that he is a new Dynasty Chinoy - one born for challenging conventional ideals but grounded in the traditional values of duty, integrity and respect. Ingrained to him by his Chonoy heritage and being a US Army. Joy on the other hand says that she believes the point in joining Miss Chinatown Philippines is that it gives opportunities to the youth today and at the same time, to show to the people that she is the master of her life.
