BINIBINING ALFONSO 2019 TO HIGHLIGHT THE ORGANIKO FESTIVAL IN ALFONSO, CAVITE.

20 of the 27 official candidates for the search of Binibining Alfonso 2019 pageant were presented to selected members of media invited during an exclusive conference held last Saturday, November 29 in one of the function room at Hill Creek Garden Alfonso, Cavite.
The pageant will highlight this year’s celebration of Alfonso Organiko Festival that will run from December 11-14. 2019. Present during the special event are the chairpersons of this year’s festivities, Leslie Ann Uy Salamat, First Lady and wife of incumbent Mayor of Alfonso, Hon. Randy Salamat and the head of Tourism Department of the town Mr. Luis Miguel Ilustrisimo.
The former Sanghiyan Festival that focused more on the cultural aspect of the town is now replaced by Alfonso Organiko Festival that will deal on the agricultural side of Alfonso. Aside from Ms. Salamat and Mr. Ilustrisimo, other officials and members of the organizing committee were also visible and explained how this year’s festival runs. They are Thiolo Cruzada (creative director of Binibining Alfonso), Leovy Mirabona ( DepEd Extension Office in charge for the Street Dance and Larong Pinoy), Teresita Galang (Municipal Civil Registrar in charge of the Kasalang Bayan), Erwin Digno (Administrator in charge of Fun Run for a cause and Tree Planting), Manuel Gonzales ( Organic Trade Fair exhibit) and Gina Vedan (MSWD officer).
There are numbers of activities that lined –up for this year’s festival celebration including Float Parade, Street Dancing, Cooking Competition, Interschool Laro Lahi, Serenata, Painting Contest, Childrens’s Magical Hour, Eco-Brick Awarding, Singing Contest, Binibining Alfonso Pre-pageant Night, Kasalang bayan, Dangal Ng Bayan and finally on December 14 the coronation night of Binibining Alfonso 2019.
Incumbent mayor of Alfonso Hon. Randy Salamat who also graced the occasion was very thankful and grateful not only to the members of the festival committee but also to all the people who are supporting and will make this year’s celebration a huge success. He is also acknowledged the presence of the media present during the press presentation and invited them to come and watch Organiko Festival in their town.
The Binibining Alfonso 2019 winner will receive P25,000, Bb. Sanghiyang will get P15,000 , first runner-up will receive P10,000 and second runner-up will get P5,000.
The winner of Binibining Alfonso 2019 will be the official ambassadress in promoting the tourism aspect and organic products of Alfonso.
