Twenty year-old Maegan Argoncillo is the country’s official representative to the Miss Lumiere International World 2019 beauty pageant on December 7 at Phoenix Forest City, Johor Baru, Malaysia.
She will be competing with close to thirty other international beauties from all over the world. Maegan was crowned as one of the three major title holders of Miss Queen of Hearts Philippines 2019 pageant last October in Winford Resort and Casino in Manila.
She left the country today Dec. 1 via Cebu Pacific to Singapore where she will stay for 3 days for some pre-final activities of Miss Lumiere International World 2019 before heading to Malaysia. She was accompanied at the airport by no less than the CEO and President of Queen of Heart Philippines beauty pageant and foundation Miss Mitzie Go-Gil. Her departure was covered by selected members of the press.
The half Filipina half American beauty is currently enrolled at Canadian Institute in Mandaluyong and taking up BS Tourism. She is not a neophyte in the world of pageantry. She was Miss Silka Laguna in 2017 and part of Bb. Laguna 2018 and Bb. Calamba in 2016. At the age of 17, she is already independent from her family and worked as a free lance digital ad model. Her personal advocacy has something to do with elderly and was involved with Bahay ni Maria, a shelter for under privileged senior citizens.
