MUTYA NG PILIPINAS JULIEANE “AYA” FERNANDEZ IS AIMING FOR A BACK TO BACK AT THE MISS TOURISM INTERNATIONAL TILT

Reigning Mutya Ng Pilipinas Tourism International 2018 Julieane “Aya” Fernandez is gunning for a back to back feat in the coming Miss Tourism International 2018 pageant on December 21st . The 23rd edition of the pageant will be held in Petaljing Jaya, Malaysia to be participated by sixty international delegates.
Aya is a Broadcast Communication graduate from the State University in Diliman and the recipient of the Most Promising Youth Social Enterprise for the year 2017. She also won the Miss Teen Earth pageant in 2015. She continues to expand her environmental project for the local community called Project Lily PH, a livelihood project for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) engaging in the production of eco-friendly charcoals from water lily and other agri forest wastes.
The reigning Miss Tourism International is non other than Jannie Loudette Ali-poon of the Philippines. The pageant was founded way back in 1994 in Kuching, Malaysia with the motto “Embracing Beauty, Welcoming Cultural Diversity”.
The special send-off party was held last December 4 at the Aposento Bar in Makati City. The event coincides with the annual Christmas Party of the entire Mutya Ng Pilipinas organization headed by their hard working president Ms. Hemilyn Escudero-Tamayo. The party was attended by past and present winners of Mutya Ng Pilipinas and selected members of the tri-media.
