MISS TEEN PHILIPPINES PAGEANT RELAUNCH

The premier pageant for teenagers in the country is making a big comeback in the pageant scenes. Miss Teen Philippines beauty pageant is returning after four years of hiatus with bigger opportunities for the future youth ambassador and to champion the new generation and promote the value of education on a global scale.
The re-launch was held last December 5 at the grand ballroom of Marco Polo Hotel in Ortigas, Mandaluyong City. The event was hosted by former Miss Teen Philippines 2004 title holder Sthepanie Sol who was very proud and excited with the comeback of Miss Teen Philippines. Selected members from the tri-media were invited for the open forum part of the launch.
Reigning Miss Teen Philippines 2014 (Reissha Nicole Villar Magadia,her court Chuara Ocampo and Bianca Williamsen) were also present to give their own testimonies and shared their journey as young beauty queens.
The organizers revealed bigger plans for the 2019 edition of the pageant and what instore for the next set of young Filipinas who will be chosen for their beauty, charm, intellect and potential to be the next role models for the youth.
Director for Youth Empowerment Through Education Foundation, Inc., will be directly part of the search and she said that they are looking for an exceptional winner who is not just a pretty face, but must be the ideal spoke person in promoting the cause of the pageant and be a role model among today’s young generation.
To further strengthen its goal, Miss teen Philippines has partnered with local government agencies to help facilitate the roll out of its projects. Department of Social Welfare and Development, Department of Education, and the national Youth Commission are more than willing to extend their help for Miss Teen Philippines to be their partners in some of their initiatives.
The 2019 edition of the pageant is expected to draw hundreds of qualified applicants from the different regions of the country and will culminate in a grand coronation night April of next year.
