G.L.A.M THE BIGGEST AND MOST PROMISING MODELING SEARCH IN THE COUNTRY THIS YEAR

Empire and Mercator Modeling Agency top man Jonas Antonio Gaffud will soon be launching G.L.A.M. (Global Asian Model – Philippines) this month. The search is looking for the best and most promising male and female models that have potentials to be the next big star on the runway and can represent PH in the international modeling competition.
Gaffud talked to selected media last September 12 at his Empire Studio in Uptown Mall in BGC. “I want to revive and bring back the excitement of the modeling competition in the country. It’s about time to bring back the glory days of the modeling search and at the same time to discover new talents that can be future supermodels.” Gaffud says.
First on his list is the search for the country’s representative to this year’s Manhunt International in Gold Coast, Australia. Last year PH delegate Daniel Azurin made it to the semi final round and took home a special award during the finals in Bangkok, Thailand. The competition will be from November 26 to December 2, 2018.
G.L.A.M is also looking for the country’s representative to the Best Model of the World modeling competition in Istanbul, Turkey late this year. Gaffud wants a pair that has the ability and the attitude to conquer the runway and has face and body that will rock the international modeling arena.
Finally, G.L.A.M. is organizing its own international modeling search called Global Asian Model International. The maiden search will be happening in Manila next year with delegates from all over world will going to compete for the coveted titles (male and female). Aside from the modeling skill, requirements include that each participants has an Asian blood lineage.
The winners of the local searches will be receiving a guaranteed modeling contract worth P300,000.00 plus the chance to be train in international stage thru casting calls. For interested applicants there will be a 2 day screening scheduled on September 22 and 23 at the Empire Studio, 2nd level, Uptown Mall, BGC from 1 to 7pm. Basic requirements are follows, for male between 18 to 30 years at least 5’10” in height, for female between 18 to 25 years old with a minimum height of 5’7”.
Tentative date of the competition is on November 9, 2018.
