ZARA CARBONNEL VIES FOR MISS TOURISM WORLDWIDE 2018

Twenty-five year old model and young advocate Zara Carbonnell is the country’s official delegate to the 2018 edition of Miss Tourism Worldwide, a beauty pageant promoting tourism and culture exchange to the world. This is not the first time that Zara is competing outside the Philippines. She already competed internationally few years ago.
“Opportunity to represent my country in an international stage knock only once, and it is high time to share my platform and thoughts on unity through tourism, my advocacy on self-awareness which is aims to assist the individuals to discover and rediscover themselves and to understand their core being”, Zara enthused.
A special send-off press conference was held last August 28 at Vikings SM Jazz along Reposo St., Makati City. The event was attended by Zara’s family, friends and people from the media. Zara says that she will do her best effort during the week long pageant from Sept. 3-9 to bring honor to the country. She is scheduled to leave on September 1.
Miss Tourism Worldwide is established under Lumiere International PTE, and will inaugurated this year. The organizers is expecting at least 24 delegates from different parts of the globe to compete in the first edition of the pageant.
The pageant has a scheduled activities in Singapore from September 3-5, from they will be moving to Bintan, Indonesia for another series of activities before heading to Batam, also in Indonesia for the conclusion and finals of the pageant.
