MR. PHILIPPINES 2018 PRE-JUDGING, SAN MATEO BETS AMONG THE FRONT RUNNERS

The pre-judging of Mr. Philippines 2018 , the second most important and critical part of the competition was held at the Club Level Bar located along Timog Avenue in Quezon City last August 8, 2018.

The thirty-five official candidates gave their best to impress the panel of judges that includes pageant experts, businessmen, fashion designers, national and international pageant director among others. The event was hosted By Mr. Onin Mas. President and CEO of Mr. Philippines 2018 pageant Mr. Gareth Blanco expressed his appreciation to the sponsors of the pageant and friends from the industry for all the help and support they lend from the start up to this stage of the search.

Two representatives from San Mateo Rizal were among the front runners for this year search. Nineteen year old Clark Chermel Amurao, an incoming Grade 11 student at the San Mateo National High School got the approval of the members of the media who attended the event. This 5’10” hunk loves playing basketball and listening to the music. His ultimate dream is to become a famous star in show business. Given a chance he would like to be another James Reid in the future. As an official candidate of Mr. Philippines, Clark considered this opportunity as a challenge to strive in life and prove his worth to be one of the winners of the search.

On the other hand, John Michael Doromal, a twenty-two year old Business Administration student at the New Era University says that joining Mr. Philippines is like a dream come true. When he was younger, he always looking forward for the right time to join in a national pageant. Now his dream is just one step away from reality. During spare time, John plays basketball and baseball. He likes to follow the footstep of his father who worked as a seaman for two decades now.

If they will win this coming Saturday, Clark and John says that they will going to use their title to inspire other men, specifically the youth to strive more in life.

Mr. Philippines 2018 Coronation Night is on August 11, Saturday, 7pm at the Crossroad Events Center in Quezon City.
