









ENVIRONMENTALIST WINS MISS MIDORI CLARK 2018 TITLE

A nineteen year old environmental advocate and incoming freshman at Tarlac University was crowned the first ever Miss Midori Clark 2018 during the finale of the pageant last August 5 held at the Festa Hall of Midori Clark Hotel and Casino in Clark, Pampanga.
Jasmine Omay bested twenty other hopefuls to wear the “Golden Empress” crown designed by Manyy Halasan. She took home P300,000.00 in cash and P790,000.00 worth of prizes in kind including a scholarship. Jasmine responded with conviction on the final question about the best definition of the phrase the beauty of the new generation. She says that a true beauty is somebody who can inspire other people and can empower beauty through her advocacy and before she ends her answer she remind everyone to be Midorified and be satisfied. Jasmine keeps herself busy by working out She is also a freelance model. She enjoys watching documentaries and she plays violin and guitar. She is also into sports like volleyball, swimming and badminton.
Jasmine is taking up Business Administration and her advocacy is about environmental awareness. She says that if we dont not take care of our earth and our environment now, there will be no future for all of us.
Her court includes Emma Mary Tiglao of Mabalacat, Pampanga firsat runner-up, Ealiza Dee Alzona of Olongapo City was declared second runner-up, third runner-up honor went to Christine Juliane Opiaza of Zambales, Anie Uson of Tarlac City was awarded fourth runner-up.
Rounding up the Top 10 are Erica Kyla Punsalan, Rosantonnette Mendoza, El Fel Sharae Banaybanay and Airish Joy Rivera.
The two hour pageant was hosted by Miss Global Philippines 2016 Camille CJ Hiro and Kent Rodriguez, entertainment number was provided by Kris Lawrence. Panel of judges includes celebrity TV host Jojo Alejar, Miss Supranational 2013 Mutya Johana Datul, Raymond Isaac, Steven Virata, Charina Go Garcia, Jose Arturo Garcia, Jr., Kathryna Yu and Ireneo Bong Alvaro, Jr.
