SURIGAO DEL SUR NATIVE IS MISTER STAR MODEL UNIVERSE 2018

Educator turned model Mark Andrew Baron, a native of Surigao Del Sur but raised in San Rafael, Navotas City bested 14 other delegates from all over North, South and Central America to bagged the first ever Mister Star Model Universe 2018 title held in Lima, Peru last May 28.
Known as Baron Andrews in the modeling world, Mark was accompanied Mr. Joey Mancilla his manager and the local franchise owner of Mister Star Model Universe here in the Philippines through out the competition. Mark is not new in the pageant industry, he won the Mr. Real Universe Philippines title during the Mr. United Continents Philippines 2015 search and went on to Ecuador where he competed at the Mr. Real Universe 2015 and placed among the Top 9 finalists.
In a post Victory Press Conference held last June 8 at the KF Head Quarter in Scout Borromeo, Quezon City, Mark said that he is very thankful to all of his supporters including Mr. Mancilla and Edwin Uy who made his National Costume for the pageant. “ All my efforts and sacrifices really paid-off. Our travel to Lima, Peru was not easy, we are literally aboard the plane for 2 days and have to adjust with the time zone and climate of host city. I had cough and sore throat day before the pageant but I am blessed that God helped and guided in every course of the competition and made me win the title of Mister Star Model Universe 2018”, he said during a brief interview.
Mark will be busy in the coming days with special appearances, guestings, judging in other pageants and will be promoting the cause and advocacy of his title.
