PHILIPPINES WINS MR. UNIVERSE TOURISM 2018 TITLE

Twenty-seven year old Kapampangan from Tarlac bagged the 2018 MR. Universe Tourism title during the finale of the pageant last May 29 at the Tanghalang Pasigueno.
Benigno “Ion” Perez one of the winners of Misters of Filipinas 2017 bested twenty other candidates from different continents of the World during the second edition of Mister Universe Tourism 2018. He was crowned by last year winner Richard Keng Carter of Thailand. Earlier in the competition Perez also awarded the Best in Swimwear.
Mr. Indonesia Brata Manggala Putra K came in second place and Mr. India Avjeet Singh Ramdhawa was 3rd.
Mr. Myanmar Mohd Shahmirul Ashwar won the Best Tourism Advocacy Video while Indonesia was conferred with the best in Festival Costume award. Mr. Sabah Jawb Bronan Thien won two special awards Mr. Photogenic and best in Formal Wear.
Completing the Top 5 are Mr. Guam Keoni Kane Jastillana and Mr. Thailand Nitat Na Wayo . The two hour pageant was hosted by Richie Jereza.
