A DREAM COME TRUE FOR MITZIE

Last March 14 during her send-off press conference, Mrs. Mitzie Go Gil, the country’s representative to the inaugural Mrs. Asia-Pacific 2018 pageant was asked by the media which among the five international titles at stake she want to win. Without batting an eyeleash, the 40 year old rotatrian replied that it’s the Mrs. Asia Pacific Tourism title. Though it’s not the highest among the five, tourism is something that is second skin to her. She is into travel agency business, a bonafide member of NAITAS and as one of her advocacy to make the Philippines as one of the prime tourist destinations spot in the world.
Nine days later at the Phoenix Hotel Forest City, Pulau Satu, Gelang Patah in Johor, Malaysia , Mitzie was bestowed with the title of Miss Asia Pacific Tourism. “This is a dream come true for me. Not only because I won the tourism title but also my dream of becoming a beauty queen”, says the mother of three children.
Mitzie arrived early morning of March 26, Monday at the Terminal 3 of NAIA in Pasay City. A rousing Victory welcome press conference was held last March 27 in honor of Mitzie at the head office of Goldenpine Enterprises Corp. (Glibe Inc.). Present during the ocassion are the officers of La Unica Events Management headed by Roanne and Annie Refrea. Also present were the president and CEO of Glibe Inc., Miss Elisa P. Sonza, Dr. Jake Navea who handed the plaque to Mitzie as recipient of Dangal Ng Bayan Award Special Welcome Tribute, her husband retires PNP General Vitrus Gil and selected members of the media from TV networlk, newspapers and blogs.
Aside from the major title Mitzie also took home several special awards; Mrs. Glamour, Best in Smile, People’s Choice award, and the coveted Special Queen Ambassador title.
Mitzie will be busy in the coming days doing TV guestings, interviews and attending courtesy calls in all of the municipalities of Rizal province.
Again, congratulations Mitzie for championing the Filipina beauties in the international pageant arena.
