MR. UNIVERSE TOURISM APPOINTS A NEW CHAIR PERSON AND TOURISM AMBASSADOR

With the success of the inaugural of Mr. Universe Tourism pageant last year, the organization appointed a new chairperson to head the second year of the pageant. Mrs. Peaches M. Oblena – Nasser a well known businesswoman and philanthropist was formally introduced to the selected members of the media during a dinner launching press conference held at the Kowloon Restaurant in West Avenue, QC last March 23. She is the president of the family owned Legacy Group of Companies and the incumbent head of the Inner Wheel Club Philippines International. The event also coincides with the crowning and sashing of the new Mr. Universe Tourism Ambassador for 2018 from India, Mr. Landjeet Karam who represented Manipur at the 2017 edition of the pageant.
The new set of officers promised to have a better and grander presentation this year with more candidates coming from the 7 continents of the world. The second edition of Mr. Universe Tourism will be happening this merry month of May at Tangahalang Pasigueno in time for the fiesta season which is the theme of the pageant this year.
Present at the event is the head of the inaugural of the pageant last year and KASAMA President, Hon. Gerard Ortiz. The affair was hosted by Mr. Ferdinand Abejon, the managing Director of Mr. Universe Tourism.
