SOPHIA SENORON GEARS UP FOR MISS MULTINATIONAL 2018 PAGEANT
Noli A. Berioso reports for OPMBWorldwide
Miss Multinational Philippines 2017 Sophia Senoron is all set to compete in the forthcoming Miss Multinational 2018 pageant to be held in New Delhi, India from February 16-26.
Since clinching the new title during last year’s Miss World Philippines 2017 pageant, the proud 17-year old Manilena has been undergoing intensive training and preparations.
She says, “For fitness, I train with Sir Angelo and Benj at Gold’s Gym. For maintenance, I have Cedrix Slimming and Wellness Center. I’m also grateful that I have the best beauty makers by my side, Jontie Martinez and Tito Rodgil Flores, along with my trainers in the different field like Mami G for my pasarela and Tito Jerome for Q&A.”
Sophia is just as thankful to her MWP “sisters” – Laura Lehmann, Cynthia Tomalla, Winwyn Marquez and Glyssa Leian Perez for their unrelenting love and support. “They have been my rock,” she exclaims. “They’ve been my second family, and they’re always so generous with their advice, not to mention their time.”
Will Sophia replicate her “dark horse” victory in New Delhi and clinch the crown? The humble lass declares, “I’m confident enough to know that I have what it takes.”
With her gift of gab, Sophia stands a good chance of standing out in any Q&A challenge. This isn’t surprising considering her background as a varsity debater at San Beda College.
Miss World Philippines National Director Arnold Vegafria is confident Sophia stands a good chance of bagging the title. “Aside from her beauty, Sophia is very articulate, and as we all know, being able to express yourself well is essential to empowering others.”
Asked about her post-pageant plans, Sophia shares, “Apart from plans to study, I want to have my own NGO that empowers children, especially girls, but that’s supposed to be a surprise, So I won’t dwell on it for now.”
Fr Miss Multinational 2018 finals night, Sophia will be wearing gowns by Jontie Martinez and Paolo Blanco.
