MISS TOURISM PHILIPPINES 2017 PRESS PRESENTATION

Twenty-three official candidates for Miss Tourism Philippines 2017 were presented to the members of the media yesterday, July 19, 2017 at the pool side of Astoria Plaza in Pasig City.
The pageant pride itself in being one of the most prestigious national beauty pageants that not only focuses on beauty, talent and fitness but also on global culture and peace, arts and tradition.
MTP is organized by Miss Tourism Philippines, Inc., an organization duly registered with Philipine Securities and Comission (SEC) with noted Civic Leader and Lady Entreprenuer Amelia – Sunio – Abarquez as President and CEO. Business Humanitarian Leader Antonio B. Abarquez as Chief Financial Officer.
The pageant is being supported by Department of Tourismespecially the local tourism officers and the provincial and local executives. There will be eight winners all in all. Five titles: Miss Tourism Philippines World; Miss Tourism Philippines Universe; Miss Tourism Philippines Luzon; Miss Tourism Philippines Visayas and Miss Tourism Philipines Mindanao plus three runners-up. The top 2 title holders will be sent abroad as the country’s representatives in Miss Tourism World in Meka, Malaysia and Miss Tourism Universe in Beirut, Lebanon.
The candidates toured the different places around the country for pre-pageant activities. Chateau Royale Resort & Spa in Nasugbu, Batangas for the Long Gown’ Province of Ilocos Sur for the Swimsuit and Jose Pangasinan, Camarines Sur for the official shoots.
The coronation night will be on July 30th at the Chardonnay by Astoria Pasig.
