MISS SCUBA PHILIPPINES 2017 OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED

After few years of sending handpicked candidates, Miss Scuba Philippines finally will have it’s nationwide search for the country’s representative to this international pageant that cares for the ocean thru beauty. Since 2012, our country consistently placed in the winners circle in this worthy competition that celebrates not only the inner beauty and courage of today’s modern women but also in preserving our ocean thru worldwide marine conservation.
Former Miss Scuba International 2015 Cindy Madduma will be the National Director of the local search. The launching was held at Belmont Hotel In Resorts World Complex Pasay City last July 12 hosted by beauty queen Athena Catriz. Present during the events are the officers of the hotel Ana Talavera and Joy Torres. Madduma took the challenge with a greater responsibility of forging on as Instrument of Change, a symbol of hope and voice of the Oceans not only in the Philippines but also in an international community.
If you are a determined Fiipina who is passionate for the preservation and protection of our marine Diversity and Resources, empowered to take stand on ocean justice, then you could be the next Miss Scuba Philippines 2017.
Miss Scuba Philippines is a pageant, which has a deep-rooted advocacy that is devoted to protect, preserve and help save our oceans and its biodiversity. It is distinctive from other beauty pageants because it focuses on the importance of the preservation and protection of the Philippines Marine resources.
Saving Ocean Through Beauty is the core principle of the organization. It uholds not only showcasing physical beauty and the superficiality but also provides the necessity for our candidates to have a heart for our ocean.
Target date for presentation of official candidates is on August 23 and the localcoronation night is scheduled on Oct 8. The eventual winner of the search will compete with other international beauties for Miss Scuba International 2017 in Kota Kinablu, Malaysi on November 16.
