MISS PHILIPPINES-EARTH 2017 PRESS PRESENTATION

The forty official candidates of Miss Philippines-Earth 2017 were presented to the members of the media today, July 5 at the pool side of Diamond Hotel in Roxas Boulevard, Manila.
Wearing an identical 2-piece printed green swimwear designed by Ricky Abad the candidates gave their best poses and environmental flat forms speech to impress the writers and photographers who attended the press presentation. The pageant, now on its 16th year is again in search for the most beautiful and environmentally-friendly earth warrior.
Present during the event are the executives of Carousel Products, Inc., led by Ramon Monzon-President, Lorraine Schuck-Executive Vice-President and Peachy Veneracion – Vice President-External Affairs. Hosting the press presentation are the reigning queens of Miss Philippines-Earth 2016 Loren Mar Artajos, Shannon Rebecca Bridgeman, Melanie Mader, Ma. Fatima Al-Soyed and Charinna Barro.
For more than a month now, the candidates engaged in different activities and preliminary competitions including the pre-judging which will determine the lucky ladies that will advance in the competition during the finals night.
Three lucky ladies were awarded Darling of the Press after the presentation proper. Miss Porac, Pampanga and Panglao Bohol tied for bronze medal, silver medal went to Olongapo City and the gold medal with a unanimous votes from the media was awarded to Samantha Victoria Acosta of Pulilan, Bulacan.
Miss Philippines-Earth 2017 will have its grand coronation night on July 15, Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City to be telecast on the following day, July 16 over Kapamilya network ABS-CBN 2.
