The International Academy for Aesthetic Sciences (IAAS) formally opens its door to aspiring Aesthetic practitioners this July of 2014. IAAS is the country’s first Aesthetic Academy that aims to give their students the best education in field of Aesthetic Science. IAAS was organized in 2009 and the preparation for its launch took more than 5 years of extensive research and development.

In its first year, IAAS will welcome nearly 100 students studying across a number of disciplines, including Medical Aesthetics, Cosmetic Nursing, Facial Therapy, Hair Science and Make Up Artistry. The school expects to eventually grow to a population of roughly 300 to 500 students, and will introduce new programs by the third quarter of 2015.

“We are dedicated to teaching local and international students who have interest in pursuing a career in the exciting and dynamic world of aesthetics. We provide education and hands-on training, and disseminate updated information from different Aesthetic Practitioners all over the globe.” said Nino Mas, Vice President for Marketing, “Our experienced medical practitioners offer excellent training skills that will bring our students to the forefront of aesthetic industry. Since this field continuously change; as new techniques and products become available; we pride ourselves on staying abreast to all these advances to provide the students with excellent, well-rounded and state of the art education.”

IAAS instructors, many of which have run their own aesthetic clinics, have a wide variety of experience in their respective fields and are respected members of their professional and medical communities. But, above all these, they are outstanding teachers. Our courses not only offer the perfect combination of teaching the skilled techniques that our students need to acquire but also an insight into the business world which is an important component in ensuring that they will be successful aesthetic practitioners in the future.” said Dr. Cecil Catapang, Vice President for Academic Affairs.

The academy believes in promoting its tested and proven highly effective services known within the aesthetics industry and continuously innovate by using methods and practices with Japanese, Korean, American and European standards. “We are working closely with public and private higher education institutions to develop high-quality academic programs and scholarships in cooperation with LGUs, NGOs, and private corporations.” said Dr. Rudy Apostol, Vice President for Business Affairs.

Living up to its image of an “International Academy”, the school broadens the horizons of students through its slogan “Excellence In Aesthetic Education”. This is one of the countless reasons why Daiana Menezes, a famous Brazilian model-host-actress, and Glennifer Perido, Miss Philippines –Earth Air 2012, enrolled in IAAS.

Founded by its Chairman, Dr. Victor Endriga, the International Academy for Aesthetic Sciences, was born out of principles of academic freedom, social engagement and global presence. The academy takes a strategic approach to amplify its image by engaging with a range of art, design, science and academic partners headed by its President, Ma. Andrea Andal who envisioned herself to be the instrument in creating a premier training institution that provides professional service with the highest level of skill and integrity.
