BINIBINING PILIPINAS 2020 STAGED TALENT COMPETITION ON VALENTINES DAY

From singing to interpretative dance, ventriloquism to magic tricks and many more, half of the forty official candidates for this year’s Bb. Pilipinas participated at the Talent Competition held last February 14, Valentine’s Day at the New Frontier Theater in Araneta City.
The participants were Samantha Panlilio, Rowena Sasuluya, Lois Ann Badando, Arianne Deseree Viardo, Princess Ann Guanzon, Shannon Tampon, Meiji Cruz, Vianca Marcelo, Hazel Joy Ortiz, Alexandta Mae Rosales, Justine Felizarta, Ana Thea Genarosa, Maria Ruth Erika Quin, Jashmin Dimaculangan, Ma. Francesca Taruc, Noriza Valerio, Danica Joy Acuna, Alexandra Garcia, Mercedes Pair and Alexangela Salvador.
The event was hosted by reigning Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental 2019 Emma Mary Tiglao and youtube sensation cosplayer Prince De Guzman. The competition is one of the most anticipated among the preliminary events of the pageant. Panel of judges was headed by no less than the chairwoman of Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. (BPCI) Mrs. Stella Marquez Araneta, the six reigning Bb. Pilipinas Queens of 2019 and Ms. Cassandra Chan last year winner of the competition. Before the competition proper, all the candidates walked the ramp wearing Jag Apparel and World Balance rubber shoes. At the finale of the event, the ladies wearing red cocktail dresses were back on stage and was serenaded by Kapamilya actor-singer Marki Stroem. Proceeds from ticket sales will go to Philippine Red Cross – Quezon City chapter.
The winner of the Talent Competition will be announce during the grand coronation night of the pageant on April 26 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Araneta City.
