FIRST IBIS STYLES HOTEL TO OPEN IN THE PHILIPPINES SOON

The ceremonial topping-off of the first Ibis Styles Hotel in country was was held last Tuesday, January 20 at the Araneta City, the City of Firsts. Present during the special event are the executives of Megawide Construction Corporation led by their chairman and CEO Eng. Edgar Saavadra. Other officials from the company are Eng. Romeo Fungay AVP for Operations and Eng. Frederick Tan Deputy Head for Construction, Accor, the company that developed the Ibis Hotel brand is represented by Mr. Emmanuel Marion VP for Operations for Midscale and Economy Brands in various countries in Asia including the Philippines. Also in attendance Araneta City’s management consultant Mr. Rowell Recinto and principal design consultant Arch. Sudhakar Thakurdesal.
Reigning Bb. Pilipinas queens also graced the topping-off ceremony with Bb. Pilipinas International and Bb. Pilipinas Megawide 2019 Atty. Patch Magtanong, Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados, Bb. Pilipinas Grand International 2019 Aya Abesamis, Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental 2019 Emma Mary Tiglao and Miss Globe 2019 second runner-up Leren Mae Bautista.
The Ibis Styles Hotel offers an eclectic atmosphere with warm service in a unique design environment that will match the fast-paced and demanding lifestyle of an on-the-go traveler. The hotel will house 2896 comfortable and spacious rooms, with 22 guest rooms available per floor. Each rooms will treat travelers with Ibis signature and relaxing Sweet Bed , a trade mark of the Ibis brand.
It will also have 6 function rooms ideal for meetings and online conferences. An overhanging pool, furnish with glass bottom, will be the highlight of the roof deck bar overlooking Metro Manila skyline. Facing west, the pool will provide view of Manila Bay’s pristine sunset.
The Ibis Styles Hotel will also have an all-day dining restaurant and patisserie which will be connected to the New Gateway. The hotel will be constructed above the much-awaited expansion of the Gateway Mall, the New Gateway. Ibis Styles Hotel will be an exciting addition to the reinvigoration of the Araneta City with its current features the Novotel Hotel, Smart Araneta Coliseum, the Gateway Tower and the Parking Garage South Building.
