FORMER EDUCATOR AND MAKE-UP ARTIST TO REPRESENT THE COUNTRY IN INTERNATIONAL PAGEANT

A 27 year-old teacher and part time make-up artist will represent the Philippines in an international pageant intended for married women and single mothers. Janina Cariz Kurihara , a wife and a mother of two is the country’s bet for the second edition of Mrs. Tourism Queen International 2019 in Bangkok, Thailand on December 6.
Janina is set to leave the country tomorrow Nov. 29 to start her journey in the “Land of Smiles” and hoping to bring honor to her fellow Filipinos. A special send-off press conference in honor of Janina was held today November 28 at Kowloon Restaurant in West Avenue, Quezon City attended by her family members, friends and members of the media from newspapers and blogs. Also present at the event is no less than the President of MegaStar Production Mr. Ovette Ricalde who believe that Yna can win the title over more than thirty other international delegates from the four corners of the globe because of her natural wit and talent aside from being beautiful inside-out.
Her advocacy focus on the education of children specially the under privileges. She is about to launch a program that will help kids in fiddrent barangays thru watching educational programs on television like the regular shows in Discovery Channel.
She works as a business analyst and a part time make-up artist. Her husband is based and works in London and a member of the Motocross Team of the Philippines who compete internationally. Janina wants to initiate a program on discipline among Filipinos which she believes that it will lead in promoting tourism sector of the country to the world.
She is happy for having a supportive members of the family especially her mother in-law. Win or lose Janina will continue her personal advocacy as her contribution to the society and says she will forever grateful to all the people who supported and help her in preparation got her coming international competition.
