BARANGAY SAN ANTONIO BETS CROWNED MR. AND MS. BINAN 2019

A pair of representatives from Barangay San Antonio were proclaimed as this year’s Mr. and Ms. Binan 2019 during the finale of the pageant last May 19 at the Alonte Sports Arena in Mamplasan, Binan City.
Richard Rey Gomez 19, a Hotel and Restaurant Management student of Perpetual Help in Binan and Aubrey Ambas 18, Grade 12 student of St. Michael tops the annual pageant and took home one hundred thousand pesos each and other valuable prizes from the sponsors of the pageant. They bested 13 other pairs representing the different barangays of Binan.
Present during the coronation night is no less than the officials of the city led by their Mayor, Atty. Arman Dimaguila, Jr. and Vice-Mayor, Angelo “Gel” Alonte. The three hour pageant was hosted by Kapamilya actress Iza Calsado and seasoned host Kent Rodriguez.
Kenrick John Hammond and Kathryn Aira Villanueva were adjudged 1st runners-up while early favorite Mark Mardon Avendano and Leonisa Codizal were named 2nd runners-up. The 2019 edition of the pageant coincides with the celebration of Puto-Latik Festival, which is fast becoming a popular festival in Southern Tagalog.
Judges during the coronation night include Kapamilya star Bob lagman, CEO of Missosology Paolo Nicholo Ventura, Dr. Alexander Cortez, Mutya Ng Pilipinas Davao 2018 Odessa Dela Cuesta, Bb. Pilipinas alumni Roseantonette Mendoza, Celebrity Manager Popo Coracativo and Mr. International 2016 Neil Perez.
The fast paced show was a production of Gouldian and directed by Makoy Manlapaz.
