MEET LEOVI JANE PAGADUAN, MISS ITALY FOR JEWEL OF THE WORLD 2019

Twenty year-old Leovi Jane Pagaduan is this year’s Miss Italy for the second edition of Jewel of the World, a pageant that celebrates “Beauty in Cultural Diversity”. Leovi was born in Italy to both Filipino parents and currently here in the Philippines together with 16 other international delegates from different parts of the globe competing for the coveted title of Jewel of the World 2019.
A special “Meet and Greet” with selected members of the press was held last May 9 at the Gohotels in Timog, the official residence of the pageant. She was accompanied by her National Director for Italy, Ms. Angela Taloza. Leovi revealed that she has been in the Philippines 3 times and looking forward for more visit for better understanding of her origin.
She is a graduate of International marketing and has a Master degree in Economic Management. She is working in Switzerland for one and a half years now and proud to say that she is living independently from her parents. She loves to travel and listen to the latest songs on Itunes and be with people with positive outlook in life.
She believes that the secret of being successful in any endeavors is being true to one self. Among the list of the country’s beauty queens, she says that she look up to Pia Wurtzbach, Miss Universe 2015 for her never say die attitude. She love Filipino cuisine especially pinakbet with lots of Okra.
This Filipina by heart Italian would like to travel each and every islands of the country and to know its rich culture and tradition. Win or less in the coronation night, she says that she will treasure every moments of the pageant and hoping that someday, she will also have the chance to represent the national colors of the Philippines in an international beauty pageant.
