KAPUSO ACTOR KEN CHAN LED THE 12TH WORLD AUTISM AWARENESS RITES AT ARANETA CENTER.

For the third year in a row, the iconic Smart Araneta Coliseum was lighted with blue lights together with other countries in South and Central America in observance of the 12th World Autism Awareness Day held last April 2, 2019 Tuesday at the Green Gate of Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The event was hosted by reigning Bb. Pilipinas Globe 2018 Michelle Gumabao and was graced by Kapuso actor Ken Chan who just recently wrapped up his advoca-serye entitled “My Special Tatay”, which deals with a man that suffering an intellectual disability. The successful show run for seven straight months and got rave reviews from televiewers and critics alike.
Also present during the lighting ceremony are the forty official candidates of this year’s Bb. Pilipinas beauty pageant where they serves as inspiration to special individuals living with autism. Selected individuals were honored by J Amado Araneta Foundation and the Philippine Association for Citizens with Developmental and Learning Disabilities, Inc. for their contribution to advancing the cause of people living with autism.
