CORY QUIRINO IS MUTYA NG PILIPINAS NEW PRESIDENT

Mutya Ng Pilipinas, a pageant organization here in the Philippines announces its new president in the person of beauty, health and wellness guru Ms. Cory Quirino. A special press conference was held last March 27, 2017 at Ascott Glorietta in Makati City to officially welcome Ms. Quirino as the newest member of Mutya Ng Pilipinas family.
Present during the occasion were mr. Fred Yuson, Chairman of the Board Mtya Ng Pilipinas, Liga Ng Mga Barangay head Kapitana Eden Pineda, Martin Dino DILG Usec. For Barangay Affairs and Ogie Alcasid singer and TV personality newest member of the board of directors.
Members of the tr-media (TV, newspapers and blogs) were present to cover the monumental event in local pageantry. Also present were the reigning Mutya Ng Pilipinas Queens led by Sharifa Akeel, Mutya Ng Pilipinas Asia Pacific 2018 and Miss Asia Pacific International 2018, Aya Fernandez Mutya Ng Pilipinas Tourism International 2018, Keshapormam Ramachandran Mutya Ng Pilipinas Queen of the Year and Pauline Amelinckx Mutya Ng Pilipinas Global Queen 2018.
Quirino was the third woman president of the 51 year old national pageant following the footsteps of Jacqueline Tan-Sanz and Hemilyn Escudero. During an open forum with the members of the press she further revealed her vision in search of the Hometown Girl, a young lady who dreams of having a crown on her head and a chance to be discovered. “Wherever the Filipina is and whatever hometown she resides in, whether here or abroad, we extend a warm invitation to her to become a member of Mutya Ng Pilipinas family”, she further said. Mr. Yuson on the other hand says that strategic move “as one which will positively secure the future of the organization”.
Mutya Ng Pilipinas 2019 will start its official search this April. Coronation night is set in August this year.
