MAKE WAY FOR DIA NICOLE MANCAO MAGNO

The most prestigious national beauty pageant in the land started to search for the fairiest and smartest women to represent the country in various international beauty pageants this year.
Here is a lady who is worthy of becoming one of the next Bb. Pilipinas queens for 2019. Dia Nicole Mancao Magno who hails from Butuan City, Agusan Del Norte. This 24 year-old beauty started her training last January under the Kagandahang Flores (KF) beauty camp. Three months later, Dia is all set to conquer the Araneta stage. Together with her other sisters from KF, Dia submitted her application at the BPCI Secretariat last March 11, 2019.
“Originally, I only wanted to lose weight because of my excess pounds. A couple of years ago I started to hit the gym to regain my old athletic form. But now, after losing almost 70 lbs (from 185 lbs to 125 lbs) I decided to try things other than sport and business. I was really overwhelmed by Catriona Gray’s triumphant performance in the last edition of Miss Universe and became an instant fan. I told to myself why not to give a try in joining a national beauty pageant”, says the 24 year old former national badminton player.
The 5’7” tall Jenny Sequia dead ringer is a college degree holder, she graduated 2 years ago at the Ateneo De Manila University with a degree in Inter Disciplinary Studies with Tracking in Psychology and Communication. She was a consistent varsity player in badminton and represents her school at the UAAP where she became a champion for years. She also competed at the biennial South East Asian Games in Jakarta, Indonesia where she finished fourth over-all.
Dia is also a young entrepreneur. Together with her mother and other empowered women, she puts up a derma clinic aside from the food business of her family.
During spare time, she makes it a point to share her badminton skill to the young generations specifically to those belongs to indigenous schools.
Given a chance to be a Bb. Pilipinas title holder for 2019, Dia would like to share her simple wisdom that she gained in life and be an inspiration to other women to strive hard and be the best version of themselves.
