REYNA NG MANGYAN FESTIVAL 2018 HOPEFULS PRESENTED TO MEDIA

Twenty gorgeous and exceptional women were presented to the members of tri-media (TV, newspapers and blogs) as the official candidates for the inaugural presentation of Reyna Ng Mangyan Festival 2018.
The event was held at Madison 101 Hotel along Aurora Blvd., Quezon City last Nov. 3, Saturday. The candidates are from the provinces of Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro and Romblon where there are Mangyan tribes. The inaugural pageant will serve as the highlight of the annual Mangyan Festival based in Mansalay, Oriental Mindoro showcasing the enduring beauty of the rich culture of the Mangyans.
Produced by E & W Entertainment Production, the search aims to immerse the candidates with the indeginous tribe and make them understand and appreciate the way of life of the Mangyans. The tribe is known for their weaving industry. Proceeds of the pageant will go to the construction of makeshift schools for the Mangyans and also for the conduct of projects aimed to preserve and promote their culture.
Pre-pageant activities are being lined up after the media presentation including national immersion, parade of beauties, various outreach activities in Mindoro Province and media partners and National Museum visits courtesy call at the Office of National Center for Indeginous People (NCIP) in Metro Manila.
The grand coronation night is set on December 15, 2018 at the Mansalay SPEC formely known as Mansalay Gynasium and will be aired on a national television on a later date.

At the end of the media presentation three lucky candidates were bestowed with special awards: Precious Kara Roco was selected as Madrigal Foundation Choice, Darling of the Press went to Jane Nicole Minano and Celestial Jambalos was adjudged Miss Madison Hotel 101+Tower.
