OFFICIAL CANDIDATES FOR JEWEL OF THE PHILIPPINES 2018 PRESENTED TO MEDIA

Eighteen official candidates , all equally stunning and intelligent ladies from different parts of the country were formally presented to the members of the media, pageant sponsors and invited guests of the 2018 Jewel of the Philippines pageant search last Thursday, October 18 at the Skydeck Hall of Madison 101 Hotel and Tower in New Manila.
This year’s line up of candidates includes beauties coming from provinces and cities as far as Bukidnon, Misamis, Camarines Norte, Norther Samar, Iligan City and Nueva Vizcaya. The interesting batch is composed of university students, local pageant winners, university professor and candidates from the recently concluded Miss World Philippines 2018.
“We are very much happy that we are able to gather a very strong batch of candidates this year, though this is only our third year. The tremendous support and positive feedback were getting gives us more motivation and inspiration to make this advocacy-driven pageant an avenue for growth and development and opportunity to shine globally and make the country proud. I’m likewise thankful to our pageants sponsors, regional partners, pageant handlers and the members of the media for their undying support.”, says John Dela Vega, CEO and President of Jewel of the Philippines organization.
Reigning title holder Achelle Medrano placed 2nd runner-up at the inaugural Jewel of the World held last may 26 in the country while Jewel of the Philippines Emerald Karen Grace Atienza made the country proud by winning the first ever Miss Landscape International 2017 in China. Sarah Acido proudly represented the country at the hotly contested and Latina dominated Miss United Continents in Ecuador.
Coronation night slated on October 30, 2018, 7pm at the UP GT=Toyota Asian Cultural Auditorium Diliman, Quezon City.
