MR. WORLD PHILIPPINES 2018 PRESS PRESENTATION

Sixteen of the country’s most desirable men were presented to the members of the media during the presentation of official candidates for Mr. World Philippines 2018.
The pageant will serves as a prelude to the “search for the world’s most desirable man”, the Mr. World pageant happening on January 27, 2019 here in Manila, Philippines at the Newport Theater of Performing Arts, Resorts World Manila. The news first came when the Miss World organization founder Julia Morley made the official announcement on their Facebook page last April 2 that made Pinoys pageant enthusiasts to get excited.
Since it’s inception, the biennial pageant for men has been held predominantly in European territories and was held in Asia in 2007 (China) and 2010 (Korea). Last 2013, the country’s representative Andrew Wolf placed second over-all. In 2014 John Spainhour and in 2015 Sam Adjani competed in London, England.
Mr. World pageant usually runs from two to three weeks with various pre-events and fast track competitions not only to test the strength of the delegates but also to know more about their personality and advocacy if there’s any.
Various pre-events and Fast Track Competitions awaits the candidates. The pre events are essentials to determine who will advance to the next rounds of the competition. Miss World Philippines National Director Arnold Vegafria welcomes the challenge of staging the Mr. World pageant here in the country. “This is the right time to harness the collective strength of a united brotherhood of men, a time to take pride in our cultural diversity, to build bridges of cooperation and mutual understanding regardless of race, creed or political persuasion”.
The preliminary screening held last August 14 at House manila yielded a few names which will be joined by more aspirants from the provinces and few others selected through a special process to complete the list.
The Official Candidates:
Joy Jerome Evangelista, Jody Baines Saliba, Karl Louie Aragon, Abdullah Shariff Cheng, Denver Hernandez, Wilfred Placencia, jr., reymart Regis, Marco Poli, Robin Hanrath, Mark Jero Bagaporo, Miguel De Castro, Amir Don Abbo, Ricardo De Jesus, Joshua Reginald Banatin, Mark Comiso, Ameen Sardouk.
