ARIELLA WOWS MISS UNIVERSE
The country’s bet for Miss Universe is having the time of her life at Moscow, Russia despite the freezing temperatures.
After landing in Moscow almost a week ago, Miss Universe Philippines Ariella Arida has been in the thick of Miss Universe pageant preparations. Ariella immediately plunged into swimsuit and clothes fittings for the souvenir, sponsors and website shoots.
Miss Universe pageant organizers are obviously charmed by the lass from Alaminos, Laguna, even picking Ariella and a few other candidates to participate in the prestigious pre-pageant Tony Ward fashion show.
It was during the rehearsals for this event that Ariella came face to face with reigning Miss Universe Olivia Culpo. “Olivia’s gorgeous! It was also a thrill to be a part of the Fashion Week in Russia and the huge show that was sponsored by Mercedes Benz. All the pieces we wore were elegant and classy. I never imagined I missed walking the runway that much,” Ariella gushes.
Latina candidates are likewise gravitating to her even taking several “selfies” during the Kremlin tour and other pre-pageant activities. Ariella, along with candidates from Puerto Rico, Poland, Spain and Russia were likewise interviewed for the fashion week and selected by major sponsor, Mercedes Benz in the sponsor’s event. “I was likewise fortunate to have been interviewed by the Fashion Channel in Russia and another by Fashion TV,” Ariella adds.
