Dakak Park and Beach Resort, one of Dapitan City’s top destination for tourists international and local alike is this year’d official residence of Mrs. Tourism Pageants 2018.
Located in Taguilon, Dapitan, Zamboanga Del Norte the popular tourists spot will play host to some forty international beauties from the seven continents of the world from October 22 – 28. The good news was relayed by Miss Apple Marie Agolong, Tourism head of the province during the “Kapihan sa Dipolog”, a weekly dialogue of the province officials aired over a local FM radio station.
Aside from their powdery white sand beach, Dakak offers an array of facilities and services that will fill everyone’s stay with convieniences and adventure opportunities. There are 160 rooms for accomodations for all their guests. There are pavillion type for families and group of friends.There are as many as 9 dining venues, including a 24-hour cafe. We also have a golf course, adult pool with adjoining jacuzzi, children’s pool with waterfalls, water sports facilities, and the Dakak Adventure Zone, which includes the country’s longest dual zipline. Just a 30-minute drive from Dipolog City and Dipolog Airport. The hotel complex itself is a 5-minute drive from Dakak Adventure Zone. From the beach resort, guests won’t have trouble finding the city’s best attractions and key places of interest. These are all within close proximity from Dakak Beach Resort: Rizal Shrine, Holy Rosary Cathedral, Dapitan River, Aliguay and Selinog islands, and Kinilaw ug Inihaw sa Fishpond Restaurant.
Prior, to the official announcement, contracts with major key supporters of the pageant were done. Ms. Lana Jalosjos De Leon – Dakak Park and Beach Resort Chief Operating Head, Mr. Wilberth Magallanes – City’s Administrator, Ms. Genalyn Jalosjos – Chief Operating Head, Gloria De Dapitan Complex, Mrs. Apple Agolong of Tourism together with the pageant’s CEO and President Ovette Ricalde and Mr. Richard Hinola – Marketing Director closed the deal for the 2nd edition of the pageant for married women and single mothers.
There will be 5 major titles at stake – Mrs. Tourism Earth, Mrs. Tourism Globe, Mrs. Tourism International, Mrs. Tourism World and Mrs. Tourism Universe. The winners will be the face and voice of the pageant’s advocacy to stop racial discrimination and at the same time promoting their own social platform.
