MISS PHILIPPINES 2018 BEAUTY PAGEANT LAUNCHED

The second edition of Miss Philippines beauty pageant was officially launched early today July 9 at the Forbes Ballroom 1 of Conrad Hotel in Pasay City. The 2018 pageant is being co-presented by EMC Corporation as producer. Present during the occasion is no less than the President and CEO of Miss Philippines pageant Mr. Francisco “Gareth” Z. Blanco, Jr. He said that the organization is looking forward for a bigger and better Miss Philippines compared to its inaugural presentation last year.
The organization is proud to tell the pageant world that MP is not only one of the biggest national beauty contest in the country today and not only focuses on beauty, talent and intelligence but most importantly, it aims to promote global culture, peace, the arts and tradition. It will also showcase the diversity the country’s regional socio-cultural heritage as well as the unique and natural beauty of the Filipinas.
Also in attendance during the launching are some important people that will directly involved in the preparation of the pageant from the start up to the coronation. They are Director Jun Cortez Fradejas COO Miss Philippines, Antique Mayor Jonathan Tan and EMC Corporational Legal Head Atty. Mario Narag.
For this year’s search, the organization will select winners that will going to represent the country in various international pageants (Miss Princess of the World-Philippines, Miss Queen & Beauty Universe, Miss Tourism Queen International and Miss National Universe Philippines).
Members of the tri-media had their chance to ask important questions during the open forum of the event. This year’s edition of the pageant is targeting to have at least 60 candidates from different provinces, municipalities and cities all over the country that will converge to share a common purpose. The 2018 Miss Philippines pageant conceptualization and preparations will surely take this pageant into a higher level. The winners will be the epitome of genuine Filipina women who will focus on social awareness of an individual leading towards social responsibility.
