FORTY CANDIDATES VIE FOR MR. AND MS. PHILIPPINE ISLANDS 2018

A total of forty aspirants (19 men and 21 women) will vie for the 2018 edition of Mr. and Ms. Philippines Islands 2018. The official candidates were formally presented to the members of the media last June 30 at the A. Venue Hotel in Makati City. Composed mostly of students, this year’s contestants bravely walked the ramp in their official swimwear and showed their posture, poise and grace during the formal and evening gown portion. The event was hosted by Ms. Nina Taduran, one of the board member of Miss Philippine Islands organization together with last year’s winners led by Sammy Anne Legaspi, the grand title holder. present during the occasion are the President of the organization Mr. Eric Arevalo and Vice-President Atorni Ton. They are happy to announce that for the second year, they will promise to give a bigger and more competitive set of fine men and women that can embody the advocacy of the pageant and can best represent the country in various international competitions. There will be 5 titles at stakes – Mr. and Ms. Philippine Islands 2018, Mr. and Ms. Philippine Islands – Luzon, Mr. and Ms. Philippine Islands – Visayas, Mr. and Ms. Philippine Islands – Mindanao and Mr. and Ms. Teen Philippines Islands 2018. Bigger and exciting prizes in cash and in kind awaits the winners plus the opportunity to travel abroad and represent the Philippines in international pageant arena. The official candidates will embark on out of town travels, sponsors visit, photo shoots and TV and radio programs guesting before the most awaited coronation night.
