Cycling enthusiasts in the country has a chance to show their endurance in the coming RAAMPAGE event happening on July 28 this year at the Clark International Sports Complex in Pampanga.
Mr. David Charlton, the owner and CEO of David’s Chain of Salon in the Philippines is the man behind RAAMPAGE – the first official South East Asian qualifier for Race Across America (RAAM). As an approved qualifier, RAAMpage will be embodying the format of RAAM via a time trial race. But to make the race friendlier to all cyclists of all levels, RAAMpage will have a 6, 12 and 24 time trials. RAAMpage staff headed by Team David’s Salon wanted to ensure that all cycling enthusiasts would have the opportunity to experience Race Across America on the level they are comfortable with.
Several people (Thumbie Remigio and Collin Pearson) who have experienced and knowledgeable in the world of cycling were invited at the media launch of RAAMpage held last April 26 at the Union Tavern Jack in Rufino, Lagaspi Village, Makati City to share their testimony based on how the event will run and what most likely to expect during the race.
Carmela Pearson head of RAAMpage and 2nd place mix relay finisher in RAAM last year says that the organization is extremely excited that RAAM has recognized their capability both as athletes and hosts. Registration is on going and the grand cycling event is happening on July 28, 2018 at the Clarck Freeport Zone in Pampanga.
