








RAVEN LANSANGAN OFF TO GOLDEN LAND
Raven Lansangan is about to receive his diploma this coming April 25 and stand proud in the stage of Holy Angel University but he chose to walk in the bigger stage of Myanmar National Theatre to bring home the honor as he competes for the 12th Mister International Pageant.
Reigning Misters of Filipinas International Raven Lansangan will finally prove his worth as he leaves for the Golden Land - Myanmar tomorrow evening for the 12th Mister International Pageant. Nearly forty men across the globe will travel to Yangoon, Myanmar to compete in becoming Mister International. This marks the first time that the competition will be held in Golden Land.
Prime Event Productions Philippines Inc Foundation (PEPPS) threw a von voyage party in Timog, Quezon City for Raven. It was hosted by former Misters of Filipinas International and Mister International 2016 semifinalist – Miguel Guia. The send of was attended by members of the press, reigning Misters of Filipinas kings, PEPPs officers, Raven’s family members and supporters.
Raven was very excited and eager at the same time for his upcoming competition. “No pressure, just excitement, after hard work and long wait, I’m ready for the greatest battle of my life” said Raven. “I will do my best to make you all proud,” he added.
Raven hails from Pampanga and graduating student of Holy Angel University. He is about to get his diploma this month but because of the competition in Myanmar, he chose to attend graduation ceremony in October. He is taking up Bachelor of Science and Business Administration, Major in Business Management.
His parents are very proud with his accomplishment. Despite of heavy schedule as reigning Misters of Filipinas winners, he made it sure that his studies will not suffer. His OFW father Randy Lansangan and mother Rowena Lansangan were all very supportive with his journey from Misters of Filipinas to Mister International. His parents were both present during his send off.
Raven will be wearing all Filipino made wardrobe in Myanmar, his national costume is locally made and designed by Derek A. Maniego of Pampanga. Projecting Masculinity, bravery and pride inspired from a Datu of Arayat, Pampanga named Don Juan Macapagal, who was a grandson of Lakandula. He was given the title Maestre de Campo General for his aid in suppressing the Kapampangan Revolt of 1660. His formal suits are creation by fellow Kapampangan June Angeles.
PEPPs Foundation and Misters of Filipinas were very successful in sending well prepared candidates to Mister International Pageant since 2013. All of them placed in their respective pageants - 2 semifinalists (2015 and 2016), 1 runner up (2013) and 1 winner (2014). 10th anniversary of Mister International was also hosted by the Philippines in 2015 and produced by PEPPs Foundation. PEPPs Foundation is also looking forward in bringing back the staging of Mister International pageant here in the Philippines in the coming years.
