Members of the media had a chance to meet some of the delegates of the forthcoming international beauty pageant that will be held in Bicol Region this month of April.
Six of the official candidates for Miss Tourism Beauty of Asia 2018 had an early arrivals during the weekend and were presented to the selected members of the press during a meet and greet event last April 9 held at the M-Bay Health Spa located along Quirino Ave., Malate, Manila. Mr. Tony Co, owner of M-Bay graciously welcomed all the guest who enjoyed the sumptuous lunch buffet as well as the amenities and the services being offered by the health spa.
Kim Balmeo CEO of MTBA promised to deliver an international caliber pageant by showcasing the best of Bicol Region. The candidates will be touring key tourist spot destinations such as Parola Island, Calaguas Islands, Donsol and Mayon Volcano. Ms. Sarah Jane Dela Vega the Social Media Director of the organization on the other hand says that the pageant will going to be a platform for tourism in the country by featuring not only the beauty of our country side but also its culture and tradition.
Mr. Ferdinad Galdones Abejon, Leverage Marketing head and PR of the pageant hosted the event. Delegates from Thailand (Wanda Inkaen), Mongolia ( Uyanga Amarmend), Cambodia (Kem Kreykeons), Upper Myanmar ( Wai Wai Lwin), Mandalay (Yamin Shweui), and Lower Myanmar ( Eo Mau Thu Aung) had an early taste of what we called Filipino hospitality. Later during the day, they toured at Echanted Kingdom in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
Mounted by QVega Profuctions, Miss Tourism Beauty of Asia 2018 will be held on April 29 at the Daet, Camarines Norte Provincial Capitol grounds highlighting the Bantayog Festival of the province. Sander Andan will handle the over-all direction.
