MR. UNIVERSE TOURISM 2018 FORMALLY LAUNCHED

The second edition of Mr. Universe Tourism 2018 was perfomally launched last April 5 at the classy Captain’s Legacy Bar and Restaurant located at the Harisson Plaza Complex, Malate Manila.
Present during the event is no other than the reigning Mr. Universe Tourism 2017 Richard Keng Carter of Thailand who just arrived few hours befor the start of the launch. “I am very happy to be back here in Manila. I always treasured every moment during my entire stay and competition last year in your country especially the moment I was crowned Mr. Universe Tourism”, says the Thai national with a British lineage. “I am looking forward to a better and more exciting edition of the pageant this year and may the best and deserving delegate wins”, he adds.
Mr. Gerald Ortiz President of KASAMA Inc. and CEO of Mr. Universe Tourism made the welcome remarks and introduced to all guests and media members the over-all chairperson of this year’s pageant in the person of Mrs. Peaches M. Oblena-Nasser. Mrs. Nasser promised a lavish, fast-paced and grander Mr. Universe Tourism pageant with the theme Fiesta this coming month of May at the TangahaLang Pasigueno. As of press time there are more than twenty delegates already affirmed their participation and the organizers are expecting more than forty by the time the competition is about to start.
The well attended launching was hosted by Mr. Ferdinand Galdones Abejon pageant’s Managing Director and head of the Leverage Marketing and graced by other Board members of the organization aside from Mr. Ortiz and Mrs. Nasser (Dr. Jumel Bornilla, Manuel Genabe III, Tom Molina among others)
Other guests includes newly appointed Mr. Universe Tourism Ambassador Landjeet Karam of manipur, India, Ione Perez Mr. Philippines Universe Tourism 2018, Nadine Bornilla reigning Miss Philippine Youth 2018, Carlo Passion Mr. Philippines Ocean 2017, The officers of Miss Scuba Philippines led by Cindy Maduma, Athena Catriz and Andrea Delgado, sponsors like Belmere represented by thei CEO Michelle Vitug Encarnacion, Jovs Laureola and Paul Semira, and representative from Pascual Laboraties.
There will be another launching this month of April for the major presentors and sponsors before the much awaited Press Presentation of the candidates in early May.
