MISS WORLD 2013 Megan Young returned to the her country, the Philippines last October 10. Upon arrival, she proceed to Mall of Asia Arena to graced at the ceremonial toss between a game of visiting NBA players, then she proceed to a press conference with the members of media at the Solaire Grand Ballroom. The following day, a welcome parade was held along Ayala Avenue where thousands of proud pinoys cheered for the first ever Miss World from the Philippines in 48 years. ( Ms. World is 62 years old but the Philippines sent its first delegate, Vivian Lee Austria way back in 1966). She visited her hometown Olongapo City last October 12. She is also set to meet the President for a courtesy call and as well as the members of the Senate before she will return to London to fulfill her obligation as Miss World.
