THE CROWNING OF REIKA OOTAKA

Reika Ootaka, the Japanese representative at the inaugural Mrs. Tourism Pageant is here again in Manila for the launching of Mrs. Japan Tourism pageant 2018. The event also coincides with the crowning of Reika as Mrs. Tourism Ambassador 2018. This is a first of a kind event that a national pageant was launched outside its territory. Reika explained to the members of the media present during the launch that social media here in the Philippines, specifically when it comes to beauty pageants is very powerful and influential.
Present during the ceremony is the President of MegaStar Productions Ovette Ricalde, the owner of Mrs. Tourism pageant. Reigning Mrs. Tourism International 2017 Dr. Risa Caldoza crowned the Japanese beauty in a ceremony hosted by Onin Mas and held at the Luxent Hotel in Timog, Quezon City.
Reika says that on the inaugural year of the pageant, there will be four winners who will be going to represent Japan in four international pageants for married women. The Mrs. Tourism 2018 to be held in Dapitan, Philippines this coming October, Mrs. International this November in Singapore, Mrs. Global United Pageant in Minnesota, USA on July 2018 and finally the Mrs. Transcontinental 2018 pageant in Houston Texas July this year.
