The 40 official candidates of Binibining Pilipinas 2018toured the stores of Pizza Hut and Dairy Queen at the Ali Mall and Taco Bell at the Cyberpark Tower on February 8, Thursday. It was an enjoyable break for the candidates from their hectic schedules in preparation for the Grand Coronation Night on March 18, Sunday. The candidates got to try the stores’ latest offering including Pizza Hut’s Cheesy Lava Mozza Crunch, the signature Pan Pizza supercharged with a layer of melt-in-your-mouth cheese baked right into the pizza, and Dairy Queen’s newest Blizzard of the month-the Cadburry Blizzard. The treat, which blends the smooth premium goodness of Cadburry Milk Chocolate with DQ’s signature creamy vanilla softserve, comes in three flavors: Rocky Road, Oreo and Choco Berry. Taco Bell Cyberpark Tower, which has evolved into a sports bar where diners can enjoy strong Wi-FI and sports TV and play billiards and beer pong, also samples its newest products including its One Sweet Deal,that is also perfect for the Valentine Season. The deal consists of a pair of Shawarma Burrito, Cheesy Topped Fries, Churros with Dip and drinks for two. Binibini Queens have traditionally gone on as endorses of Dairy Queen, Miss Universe Philippines Rachel Peters is currently a brand ambassador for Pizza Hut. The store tour also served as an opportune time for the candidates to bond with fans and members of the media. Aside from sponsor visits, the candidates are also busy preparing for the talent competition on February 10, Saturday, 3pm at the New Farmers Plaza.
