









THREE-IN-ONE CELEBRATION FOR MISS PHILIPPINE 2018 YOUTH WINNER
Newly crowned Miss Philippine Youth 2018 Simone Nadine Bornilla had a three-in-one celebration last January 20 at the Manansala Loft, 38th floor, Rockwell Center, Makati City.
Fresh from her victory from the recently concluded Mr. and Miss Philippine Youth 2018 held last January 5 at Palacio De Manila where bested fifty equally beautiful and talented girls from different parts of the country, Nadine as she fondly called by her peers also celebrated her 15th birthday on the same day. 9th grader at Colegio De San Agustin in Dasmarinas, Makati City, Nadine also bagged three important special awards during the competition (The Leadership, Personality and the Most Popular award via online).
She loves to sing and in fact she is a member of the Senior Augustinian Singers and incidentally included in the celebration is the send-off for the entire chorale group scheduled to compete internationally in Kobe, Japan to represent the country at the SING'N'PRAY KOBE 2018 - REMEMBERING THE ONE LOST. The event is an annual competition organized by INTERKULTUR, united singers of all faiths, all over the world. The chorale competition will run from January 25-29, 2018.
Nadine came from the family of physicians and like her father, she want to be a successful doctor in the future. Nadine’s natural talent for singing blossomed due to her training at Spotlight Artist center under the supervision of Miss Saigon alumni Isay Alvarez. She also attended ballet classes when she was 8 at Ballet Manila headed by prima ballerina Lisa Macuja. An advocate of “Quality Healthcare as a Right and Not as Privilege”, she also a theater actress and a regular attendee of Repertory Philippines summer Work Shop.
The event was hosted by seasoned hosts/beauty queens Miss Philippines Earth 2012 Angelie Claudette Delos Reyes and Miss Global Philippines 2016 Camille CJ Hiro. A Holy Mass was held before the event proper officiated by Fr. Nonoy Caligan.
Also present during the event is the founder of Mr. and Miss Philippines Youth himself, Hon. Gerald Ortiz. The pageant is now on its 18th year and considered the most successful nationwide contest for young individuals who want to lead the way to make their personal advocacies work by using their titles as solid platform.
