JANNIE LOUDETTE ALIPO-ON IS BACK IN MANILA

Newly crowned Miss Tourism International 2017 Jannie Loudette Alipo-on arrives early morning of December 8 via Cebu Pacific Air from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She was welcomed at NAIA Terminal 3 by Mutya Ng Pilipinas representatives led by Mayenne Vijandre and Maricel Arega Ang together with selected media members from TV networks, newspapers and blogs. She was accompanied by her mentors, sisters and fashion designers Jontie and Nickky Martinez and Louie Trinidad.
The twenty-five year old beauty from Navotas City bested forty six other delegates from around the globe during the finals of the pageant last December 6 in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Prior to the coronation Alipo-on was awarded Miss Gintell Wellness. Her triumph in the pageant makes the Philippines as the top performing country with 4 titles (Peachy Manzano 2000, Rizini Alexis Gomez (RIP) 2012 and Angelie Dione Gomez 2013). Miss Poland Maja Aleksandra was named Miss Tourism Metropolitan International, Indonesia’s Lois Merry Tengel was proclaimed Miss Tourism Metropolitan and Diana Hill of Australia wins the Miss Tourism Global title, Dream Girl of the Year went to Julia Horta of Brazil. Early favorite Kamorlut Tanon of Thailand was named Miss Southeast Asia.
Alipo-on won a scholarship worth RM60,000 and RM10,000 cash plus other valuable prizes from sponsors.
