DAIRY QUEEN PHILIPPINES OPENS 100TH STORE

On their 11th year in the Philippines, Dairy Queen (SQ) celebrates the opening of its 100th store at the Gateway Tower in Araneta Center. With a festive event on October 13, 2017, the international ice cream brand celebrated the milestone with fun Filipino-inspired bash that echoed the theme “Celebrating life’s little victories.”
Just as we all celebrate our victories in life with incredible parties and important people, DQ’s 100th store opening does not fail short in terms of festivities and attendees. The program opened with a lively Ati-Atihan street dance number, thrilling guests, business partners and corporate managers. Afterwards, the ribbon cutting ceremony was led by no less than Mr. Phil Reed, Chief Executive Officer of DQ Philippines , Mr. John Gainor, President and Chief Officer of International Dairy Queen, Inc. (IDQ) and Mr. Jean Champagne, Chief Operating Officer of International Dairy Queen Inc. (IDQ).
Supersized Blizzards were presented to Mr. Gainor and Mr. Champaigne to commemorate the 100th store-opening, followed with fun flair tending contest by talented store members who amazed the VIPs with their cup flips and toss of the Blizzard, DQ signature ice cream that is served upside down to cutomers. DQ cake decorators did not fall behind in showcasing their craftsmanship as they presented their Christmas themed creations to the guests. The winning cake design will be shared with everyone as it becomes the official 2017 DQ Christmas cake design.
To complete the party, the event was graced by the presence of reigning Filipina beauty queens, Bb. Pilipinas International 2017Mariel De Leon, Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2017 – Chanel Olive Thomas, Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental 2017 – Katarina Sonja Rodriguez and Bb. Pilipinas Globe 2017 Nelda Ibe.
Launch of the Binibini Queens as the official brand endorsers was marked with DQ’s newest TV commercial, featuring the beauty queens with their fave DQ treats at their fave bonding place, none other than DQ! It also showed that ruly, life’s little victories could be celebrated everyday with DQ’s sweet offerings.
