Thirty exceptional candidates with Filipino-Chinese lineage were presented to the members of the press last August 8 at Eclipse Bar of Solaire Hotel and Casino in Pasay City during the press presentation of the annual Mr. and Miss Chinatown 2017 pageant.
The new batch of hopefuls hailing from different regions of the country, namely Metro-Manila, Baguio, Cebu and Davao, who will compete for the prestigious titles. Through wider reach, the organizers hope to find the ones who are most fut to represent the excellence of the Chinese-Filipino youth in leadership, the arts, entrepreneurship and academics, those who are deemed worthy to be called Chinoy cultural ambassadors.

Cultural Costume Presentation - August 13, 4-5om at Eastwood Mall Atrium, Chinatown Ball - August 16, 7pm at Solaire Ballroom and Talent Competition - August 20 at Lucky Chinatown Mall Atrium.
The grand coronation is on September 3 at The Theatre at Solaire. The winners and runners-up will receive Php 200,000, Php 100,000 Php 50,000 worth of cash and prizes respectively and the Miss Chinatown will compete at the Miss Chinese International pageant.
The pageant is being brought to you by Chinoy TV, Miss Chinatown Foundation and Oriental Group and presented by Solaire Resort and Casino and Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc.
The pageant will be telecast on September 10 over ABS - CBN’s Sunday’s Best.
