MAN OF THE WORLD 2017 WINNERS PRESS CONFERENCE

The recently proclaimed winners of the inaugural Man of the World Pageant held here in Manila meet with the members of the media last August 4 at Icon Hotel – the official residence of the pageant in the Timog Quezon City.
Present during the event are the top honchos of PEPPS Foundation led by their president Carlo Moris Galang and vice president Mr. Jhune Salud. “ We are glad that the initial staging of Man of the World pageant was a success. We will promise to all the pageant supporters and the media as well that the second edition of the pageant next year will going to be much exciting with more delegates from all over the globe and will feature other places and tourist spots in country”, Galang says. Also present during the press conference are the past and reigning winners of Misters of Filipinas and the representatives from the major sponsors of the pageant.
Accountant turned model Mostafa Elizali of Egypt headed the batch of this year’s winners in welcoming select guests, sponsors, organizers and press people. As grand winner of MAN OF THE WORLD he will embark on a great adventure filled with prestige, glamour, fun, but most especially hard work to promote pageant’s advocacy.
Candidates from around the world promoted masculinity with responsibility through partnerships with different educational institutions to promote the value of education and career development. Along with education, another advocacy is on the importance of Tourism and how it could also build nationalism among youth. It was the main platform of all candidates in educating the youth in their respective countries.
Vietnam supermodel winner and TV personality Huu Long used his charm to impress everybody the same charm he used in impressing the Finals Night;s judges that made hin win 1st runner-up plum. While the pageant looks for the most handsome and charming man, MAN OF THE WORLD also looks further – the heart for the advocacy. Fitness trainer from Palestine, this tear 2nd runner-up was also presented to the media. Abou Sahyoun Wassim is very proud with his achievement and want to share it to his fellowmen when he gets home.
For over two weeks, the Philippines was the perfect venue for this celebration of masculinity, diversity and unity. All regions and continents of the world were well represented. Candidates from Americas, Asia, Europe, Australia, Carribean and Africa participated in the inaugural pageant.
Negros Oriental played host to most pre pageant activities such as Governor’s ball, mayor’s night, National Costume competition, swimwear competition and Apo Island adventure in Tanjay City. Dolphin watching and White Sandbar shoot in Bais City and Manjuyod.
