









MUTYA NG PILIPINAS REGIONAL COSTUME COMPETITION

Mutya Ng Pilipinas 2017 Regional Costume Competition was held last July 26 at the Plaza of Resorts World Manila in Pasay City. All of the thirty delegates from different parts of the country and Overseas Filipino Communities paraded in their best regional costumes attire designed by the country’s top fashion designers.
Ambassador of Philippine Fashion to the World Rene Salud, former Mutya Ng Pilipinas World 1988 Dana Narvadez, fashion guru James Cooper, Mr. Gay World Philippines National Director Wilbert Tolentino and Mutya Executive Mags Que were some of the judges during the competition.
Crystal Rosehelly Alday of Camarines Sur emerged as the top winner of the competition wearing the creation of Louis Pangilinan., Alyssa Joreen Reyes of Lemery, Batangas was named first runner-up wearing another Louis Pangilinan creation while Nicole Kristel Losloso of Southern Luzon bagged the second-runner-up honor wearing the creation of Jojo Alidio. Also present during the special event is the newly elected president of Mutya Ng Pilipinas Inc., Miss Hemilyn Escudero-Tamayo and reigning Mutya NG Pilipinas Asia-Pacific Akrishna Ganiel Krisnan.
The long gown competition will be held in Alta D’ Tgaytay on July 28, Friday.
The 49thj edition of Mutya Ng Pilipinas will culminate on Aug 4 at Newport Theater of Performing Arts, RWM.
