PLDT LIFTS VIDEO STREAMING IN PH TO THE NEXT LEVEL WITH ROKU POWERED TVOLUTION BOX

Leading Philippine telco and digital services provider PLDT has unveiled the Roku Powered PLDT Tvolution box to enable Filipino families to enjoy the world’s best video entertainment through an easy-to-use platform.
The product launch was held at the Bonifacio Hall of Shangril-La The Fort in Taguig City last June 8. The project was develop in partnership with American video streaming pioneer Roku Inc., PLDT new TVolution box has an all in one plug and play entertainment solution loaded not only with video on demand titles from iflix and Netflix, but also pay TV channels from Cignal, free content from Youtube, and over 100 other streaming channels.
The program was hosted by Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and Mr. World First Runner-Up and Volcano player Andrew Wolf. In attendance are the reigning Bb. Pilipinas Queens led by Miss Universe Philippines 2017 Rachel Louise Peter, Bb. Pilipinas International 2017 Mariel De Leon, Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2017 Chanel Olive Thomas, Bb. Pilipinas Grand International 2017 Elizabeth Clemci and Bb. Pilipinas Globe 2017 Nelda Ibe. Also seen during the vent are celebrity couple Vic Sotto and Pauleen Luna of Eat Bulaga fame, former Supermodel Twetty de Leon and singer Franco Laurel, national volleyball team members Alyza Valdez, siblings Dindin and Jaja Santiago.
The Tvolution box and service are available to all PLDT Home Fibr customers starting this month for an additional monthly service fee of P199 only. Subscribers can choose from millions of hours of free or paid content from different streaming services with minimal additional charges. The partnership with Roku is the latest addition to PLDTHome roaster of global entertainment partners like Cignal TV, iflix, Netflix, Fox+ and I Want TV among others.
